Split transactions just got a little bit smarter.
When you’re splitting a transaction across multiple categories, there’s often one final amount left to enter. Until now, that meant doing some quick mental arithmetic (or reaching for the calculator).
Now you can simply turn on Auto Balance.
How it works
When Auto Balance is enabled, CLARIFYProperty automatically updates the final split line as you edit the others, ensuring the transaction always balances perfectly.
No maths. No “out by 2p” issues. No friction.
If you prefer full manual control, you can switch Auto Balance off at any time and everything behaves exactly as before.
Why it matters
This is a small feature, but it removes a very common point of friction when entering split transactions. Over time, those small moments of mental overhead add up — especially for users processing lots of transactions.
The goal is simple: keep transaction categorisation as effortless as possible.
